Worship

doesn't have to mean the same Sunday service every week. At all three churches in the parish there are plenty of different ways to take part in a conversation with God, and with other parish members.

The Easter Vigil is a great example of how worship can mean something totally different to the image most people have. On the Thursday before Easter - known as Maundy Thursday - there is the opportunity to stay up all night and connect with God through other forms of worship; learning the origin of the Vigil, taking a night-time walk through Richmond Park and worshipping through making music.

Taking part can also mean planning services for the wider church, or worshipping through drama or music as part of the longer church service

If the idea of being involved in the regular Sunday services appeals to you, there are various ways to be a part of parish worship:

  • You can join the acolyte teams and have a closer look at what goes on up at the altar during a Eucharist service
  • You can join choirs in all three churches and help to lead worship through music making
  • and at St Mary's, you can be part of the worship by taking part in the band. Contact Perry for more details.

See each individual church home page for who to contact for all of these activites.
